Every Morning and Every Night

If you ask her she will tell you that we have to brush her hair "Every morning and every night." so that it doesn't get tangles.

I bought her a tiny brush for her first Christmas, with bristles softer than anything you can imagine, and began this tradition then. She didn't have enough hair to tangle at two months old, of course, but I credit our early beginnings to why I don't have a raging battle with her about brushing her hair now at four. 

Some days we do braids or tails, and some days we just leave it down, but I hope she lets me do this for years to come.
