Mama is Creating

You’ve seen my office space. I share it with my husband, and it’s one of my favorite places in the house. Tucked away upstairs in our bedroom is a smaller space, but it is also one of my very favorites. This is where I create. I embroider, sew bonnets, fill out months worth of planners with color coded pens (and later scribble through my colorful, carefully made plans and rewrite them with a regular blue or black), lesson plan, wraps presents, coordinate lists for my lists...It’s my spot. 

This wall is over my tiny desk, and it is one of the first things I see when I wake up. It serves as an early morning reminder to go out and create something, even if it’s not at my desk, because I am happier when I am allowing myself the time to be creative.
