Welcome to the Stage

Today marked her first long day of rehearsals leading up to The Nutcracker in 6 weeks. Bless her teacher Ms. Nicole, who was not only trying to instruct the adults and older children while making slight changes to the choreography and pacing, but was also wrangling a pack of 2-6 year old mice and angels who were prone to giggle. 

Eleanor is excited about her first performance, while also nervous about the prospect of a “huge” audience of people watching her. I assured her that we would be right there, front and center, cheering her on, to which she replied “Not too loud, Mommy. That would be embarrassing!” 

She knows me so well.
