Alpaca Lotta Worry Into a Day
Our alpaca, Hazel, hasn’t been far from any of us these last few days. We whisper our worries into her ear, and there are more than enough worries to go around these days. Fortunately, this is what our alpaca is made for.
I know you've seen me mention Slumberkins before, and this isn't a paid blog or anything. We just really love our Slumberkins that much. Created by a teacher and child counselor, each Slumberkins creature is created to aid with a specific subject of emotional learning. They have a honey bear for gratitude, a sprite to help with loss, a unicorn for authenticity, a hammerhead for conflict resolution...the list goes on, and it includes an alpaca to help with stress relief.
Each creature comes with a beautiful book as well, and I have no shame in saying that both books and snugglers have been used with great success for both the children and adults in our home.
