Annual Autumnal Transformation
No apologies. No regrets. It’s time.
The morning dawned cloudy, and many of the local districts are back to school already. Despite the fact that our high today is due to be over 80° I have begun our Annual Autumnal Transformation. Starting with “the mantle” of our home made, flame-free fireplace.
The Fireplace is one of my favorite ideas to date, and between you and me, that’s saying something. We built it this past Christmas as a place to hang our stockings, with care, but I have had a ton of fun this year changing the decor to fit different holidays and seasons. I’ve been counting down until it would finally be time to load it up with all the best parts of my favorite season, Autumn, and I decided that it’s time.
It’s the perfect place for the embroidery piece I was working on this past Saturday, and also for the Jack-O-Hedgie I made last year. I love it more than a little bit. I’ve been experiencing some “Where Did the Summer Go” blues the last week or so, but Fall Therapy is helping a little bit.
When is everyone else starting to decorate for Fall?
