Bear Goes Everywhere
Bear has been another member of our family for almost all of Sebastian’s life. All of my children have had toys they loved, but none of them have been like Bear. There are pictures of Bear at the beach, in Ohio, on the bikes, at almost every birthday and holiday, camping, in hotel rooms, at the pool...Bear has been there for all major and minor adventures and explorations.
Bear goes everywhere. (Even if that means I live in almost constant fear of loosing him.)
Today, Bear joined us as we went to see Frozen 2. (Good movie. Highly recommend.)
I’m not sure I remember his original color anymore, and I’m not sure it matters. If the standard set in The Velveteen Rabbit is true, that a toy becomes real only after it has been loved so deeply, then Bear is more real than many humans I know. I can’t think of a teddy that deserves it more.
